Refund policy
At Periwinkle Crafts NZ, we want you to love your handmade and 3D-printed treasures. Because many of our items are custom-made or sold at community markets, we have a few specific guidelines regarding returns.
1. Custom and Personalized Items
Items that are personalized or custom-made to your specifications (such as custom-name fidget clickers, personalized mugs, or bespoke pipe cleaner flowers) cannot be returned or exchanged incases such us: change of mind; incorrect spelling or information provided by the customer; or colour/design choices approved by the customer.

Why? These items are created specifically for you and cannot be resold.

Exception: If your custom item arrives damaged or there is a mistake in the personalization on our end, please contact us within 7 days so we can make it right.
2. Market Sales
For items purchased in person at local events like the Waikato Market or Mount Makers Market:

All sales are final once you leave the stall.

We encourage you to inspect your items (and test those fidget clickers!) thoroughly before completing your purchase.

If a mechanical part fails shortly after a market due to a printing defect, please reach out to us via email with a photo so we can discuss a replacement.
3. Standard Non-Custom Items
For non-personalized items (like standard ready-to-ship mugs or pre-made 3D prints):

You may return these within 14 days of receipt.

The item must be in its original, unused condition, and has not been damaged after delivery.

Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged during shipping:

Please take a photo of the damaged item and the packaging immediately.

Email us at periwinkle.craftsnz@gmail.com within 48 hours. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging.

We will offer a replacement or a full refund for any items proven to be defective or damaged in transit.
5. Handmade Products
As each item is handmade, slight variations in colour, texture, placement, or finish are part of what makes every piece unique. These small differences are not considered defects.
6. How to Start a Return
To start a return or report an issue, please email us with your order details and a brief explanation of the problem. We are a small family business and will do our very best to ensure you are happy with your purchase!
Consumer Guarantees
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. If a product has a genuine fault or does not meet the guarantees required by New Zealand law, you are entitled to the appropriate remedy.
